Introduction to Basic
Computer Technology uses an
innovative multimedia environment --- Computer
Based Learning --- to make subject matter come alive. This
course is designed to provide fundamental skills in the operation of
microcomputers, including an introduction to computers, keyboarding
skills, using SAM-2003 Server Based Software
Package to master Microsoft Office Suite,
helping the students to acquire skills that are directly transferable
into todays workplace.
These
real-world
applications in word processing, graphics, databases, spreadsheets, and
desktop publishing make the course
exciting, relevant, and challenging. The course is
self-paced and allows for student individuality.
The
course will expand the students' basics in career exploration,
planning, and
organization skills to prepare them for any future career.
