Neighborhood Network Center

The Neighborhood Network Center is a community resource center which offers internet access, computer literacy training, GED preparation classes, as well workforce development opportunities (job readiness skills, resume development and employment placement).  The center is composed of community partners, such as Meridian Community College GED Program and Lauderdale County Extension Services which provides after school youth development and tutorial programs, and AmeriCorps provides on the job construction training opportunities for selected community residents. This state-of-the-arts center is possible as a result of a grant that was funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The goal of this grant is to help community residents bridge the digital divide, which will allow them broader exposure to internet applications and enhance educational and employment skills.  The NNC is located at 2305 D Street (directions), in the Community Services Building.    Come see what we have to offer.
