BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS D. Allan Stewart, Chairman Mr. Stewart has served on the MHA Board of Commissioners since 1996. He holds a M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and is the President of BankPlus here in Meridian. Mr. Stewart is a very active member of the Meridian Community where he has memberships with the East Mississippi Business Development Corporation, the Kiwanis Club, the Meridian Little Theater and other civic organizations. Dr. Judith Miller, Vice Chair Dr. Miller has served on the MHA Board of Commissioners since 1998. She is a veteran educator and holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern Mississippi, M.Ed. in secondary administration, and a B.S. in Business Education and Economics. She is the executive director of the East Mississippi Center for Educational Development, Inc., a regional educational service agency serving 22 public school districts.  Dr. Miller serves on the national board of the Association of Educational Services Agencies and is also a member of the East Mississippi Business Development Corporation, the Kiwanis Club of Meridian, and Phi Delta Kappa. Jeanell Kidd, Commissioner Ms. Kidd has served on the MHA Board of Commissioners since 1989. She graduated from Meharry Medical College as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is employed with the Meridian Public School District and Riley Memorial Hospital. Ms. Kidd is also a member of the School Nurses Association, the Elks Lodge and the Negro Business and Professional Women's Association. Wilbert Jones, Commissioner Mr. Jones has served on the MHA Board of Commissioners since 1995. He holds a Master's in Education and a B.S. in Business Administration/Accounting. Mr. Jones is the CEO of the Greater Meridian Health Clinic, Inc. Other memberships in the community for Mr. Jones include the National Association of Community Health Centers, the Meridian Optimist Club and the East Mississippi Business Development Corporation. Mr. Jones also serves on the board of the Alcorn State National Alumni Association.
