As we face a new year, we are optimistic about the road ahead for the residents of the Meridian Housing Authority. We have made significant progress over the past twelve (12) months. We are excited about the possibilities for our residents with the implementation of our Homeownership Transition Program (HTC). We are excited about providing a decent and safe living environment for all residents through our Officer Next Door partnership with the Meridian Police Department. We are excited about the prospect of starting the first college class for our residents at the new Frank Berry Community Center through our partnership with Meridian Community College. We are eagerly anticipating the submittal of a Choice Neighborhood Implementation grant to assist in the revitalization of the George Reese Court housing community.
We look forward to positive news from HUD regarding much needed funding for the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program to assist with capital repairs needed at both J.T. Davis and Frank Berry Court communities.
Now it is time to renew our “Commitment to Excellence” for the work ahead.
