How To Apply For Housing

Applications for public housing may be picked up Monday through Friday at the Eugene F. Young III Community Service Center located at 2305 D Street, Meridian, Mississippi or you can call (601) 693-2800 with any questions or comments.

Once you complete the application process, you can return the application to the Eugene F. Young III Community Service Center on Wednesdays and Fridays between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm.

Please have available:

Social Security cards along with birth certificates for all family members as well as picture ID’s.

The Meridian Housing Authority was incorporated in 1939 and provides affordable housing opportunities to more than 3,000 residents in the City of Meridian. The agency currently administers 1214 public housing units, 215 Housing Choice Vouchers and 89 privately owned apartments.
