The core values at the Meridian Housing Authority will continue to focus on putting people first and making responsible decisions as we continue to deal with the negative impact of the national coronavirus pandemic. MHA’s top priority remains the well-being of its staff and the valued families we serve throughout all nine of our affordable housing communities.
With so much national attention on the Coronavirus (COVID-19), MHA will continue its efforts to comply with the Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) social distancing requirements. We will take extensive steps to ensure everyone’s health and safety.
Please be advised that the following management adjustments are effective immediately at MHA until further notice:
- Cancellation of all monthly property management-residents advisory gatherings
- Cancellation of all MHA-Resident Advisory Board gatherings
- Cancellation of all Envision Center related events
- Cancellation of MHA’s CSS home visits and community partnership gatherings
- Cancellation of all scheduled resident workshops including ROSS, PH, BEEP and HCV
- Cancellation of all new resident application orientation gatherings
- Cancellation of MHA’s Boy Scouts gatherings
NOTE: Resident re-certifications will be conducted by appointments only. MHA’s maintenance staff will only respond to emergency work orders during this period. We will continue to follow recommendations from our local leadership and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) for updated reports on COVID-19 and its impact on our community.
