REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS # 2012-10 The Housing Authority of the City of Meridian (MHA) is accepting proposals from firms offering LEGAL SERVICES.

The Meridian Housing Authority, Meridian, Mississippi will receive sealed bids for Exterior Renovation of Western Gardens   MHA Project  # 2012-08

This work will consist of Demolition, Removal and Replacement of Siding, Windows, Cornice, and Painting.

Bids will be received until 2:00PM local time on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at the office of The Meridian Housing Authority, 2425 E Street, Meridian, MS 39301, where at this time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contractor shall provide a signed agreement by March 8, 2012, and be ready to begin construction immediately with Notice to Proceed.

Contract Documents will be available Wednesday, February 8, 2012 and may be examined and obtained at the office of Carter Miller Associates, Ltd., 404 Hwy 19 N, Meridian, MS 601-483-0601. A deposit of $150.00 will be required for each set of plans and specifications of which $100.00 will be refunded when returned within seven (7) days in usable condition after the bid.

Proposal package that includes instructions, scope of services and evaluation criteria, etc. is available at MHA, 2425 E Street, Meridian, MS  39302. Contact person is Kajsa Cole, 601-693-4285  x 224. 

Proposal deadline is 2:00 p.m., January 25, 2012.  The question deadline is January 17, 2012. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope and the words "FEE ACCOUNTANT RFP #2011-22 DEADLINE 01/25/2012 @ 2 P.M." clearly written on the outside of the sealed envelope.  The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all propsals and waive any informalities in the proposal process.
