As we embark upon the dawning of a new year, I want to congratulate the staff and residents of the Meridian Housing Authority for efforts which contributed to a highly successful 2016. The 2017 year has started out with a bang as the Department of Housing and Urban Development approved funding in the amount of $2,903,760.00 to assist the agency in improving the quality of life for all its residents. I want to continue to encourage each resident to take full advantage of the programs made available through MHA’s Community and Supportive Services Department. The agency is looking forward to increasing the number of participants who are participating in the Home Ownership Transition Program (HTP). One of our main objectives for 2017 is to ensure that each resident will receive the opportunity to own their own home. Contact your property manager for information regarding our “HTP” initiative.
