Executive Director’s Message – May 2019

As a result of MHA’s most recent annual planning process; the following projects are now 100% complete: (1) Interior painting at George Reese, Magnolia and Sowashee Courts, (2) Painting projects are also completed at Eastern and Western Gardens in addition to Highway Village, Oakland Heights and Mt. View Village and (3) the George Reese Courts “L” building has been totally renovated after sustaining severe storm damage during an EF2 Tornado.

Welcome to the Meridian Housing Authority
We are located at 2425 E Street, Meridian, MS

The Meridian Housing Authority was incorporated in 1939 and provides affordable housing opportunities to more than 3,000 residents in the City of Meridian. The agency currently administers 1214 public housing units, 215 Housing Choice Vouchers and 89 privately owned apartments.
